Flushing Campus
The Career Services Center at Flushing offers its students and graduates a variety of employment services, ranging from resume writing, mock interviews, career planning, pre- and post- career counseling, and lifetime job placement assistance. Two computer stations are available for student use to create resumes and cover letters, or explore job or internship opportunities on the world wide web.
Annie Mak, our Career Services Manager, establishes relationships with organizations in the community to open opportunities for our graduates. Examples of organizations that hired our graduates are Federal Standard Abstract, No. 1 Insurance Brokerage, Time Warner Cable, and The New York Community Bank. A part-time Career Services Assistant is also available to assist students in career planning. Upon graduation, the sky is the limit for a successful future. Commack Campus
The Career Services Office at Commack offers it’s students a wide range of employment services, pre and post graduation. These include: career counseling, mock interviews, resume support and workshops, pre-professional advising, and lifetime placement assistance.
Our Career Services Coordinator for Court Reporting, Joy Bolger, maintains contact with of the most premier Court Reporting agencies in the surrounding area, as well as the contacts at the major courthouses. Students are placed according to what they express their expectations to be. Some of the agencies our graduates are now working with are Enright, Accurate, Precise and Suzanne Hand and Associates. Once you have earned your degree, the opportunities in the field are countless, and the Career Services Office is there to assist you on your journey to success.
