Tutoring

LIBI offers several types of extra help for students who need it. Tutoring, workshops and speed-building clinics are scheduled regularly and schedules are available at all campuses at both the reception desk, as well as at the Learning Center in Flushing . The Learning Center in Flushing

At the Queens Campus, LIBI provides one-on-one tutoring through the Learning Center located at the Flushing Annex at 37-12 Prince Street . Students can use various tutoring software programs individually or work with scheduled instructors on learning excel, word or other software programs, studying for exams, or working on assignments.  The Learning center is staffed by LIBI Flushing Full-time faculty from a variety of subject areas.  The learning center is open during school operating hours and is available to all students on a first come first serve basis.  For students requiring tutors or instructor assistance, it is highly recommended they contact the Learning Center Coordinator, Joyce Cheng to schedule time with an instructor in the area in which they seek assistance.  You can reach Joyce to request the current learning center schedule or to schedule your appointment by email at jcheng@libi.edu .
